Baltimore Councilman James Kraft unveiled his ‘Growing Green’ vision for the city on 07MAY07. Green Community Development was one issue that secured the support of Tim Caldwell, President of Greencastle Builders. The ‘Green and Healthy Housing Program’ calls for Property Tax Credits for high performing buildings and Silver LEED Certified structures combined with revised Building Code standards will work to provide for a safer more efficient community. Sustainability will become more than a catch phrase, it will become the standard by which the building industry is measured. | |
